“Safe” by Bay Ledges from the Fountain Tropical EP (2017) might be my favourite music video of all time. I had the fortune of stumbling upon the band a month ago and have been listening to their songs on repeat ever since. The bulk of their work came out in 2017 and 2018, but their new single “Dive” which came out December 2019 has led to a well-deserved resurgence of new viewers. Watch for yourself to find out why Bay Ledges is my new favourite band.
The artistic choices are so smart, and we feel like we’re at home with the artists as they show the process of a song’s creation.

The bright rhythms of Bay Ledges are a must-have to drive out any winter blues. Keep up with them on Instagram and Facebook, something tells me we’ll be seeing some new tracks from them very soon! In the meantime, my personal download recommendations are “Safe”, “Tween Love”, and “Wherever You Sleep”.
