Hamilton, the popular musical is now a feature film that you can enjoy at home on Disney+. Fans have already flocked to social media with raving reviews.
Writer, composer and lead Lin-Manuel Miranda announced that the film would release much sooner than it’s original date, October 15, 2021, due to the pandemic. The early release is a welcome gesture especially for those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to experience Hamilton on broadway.
If you’re subscribed to Disney+ you’ll also be able to watch a behind-the-scenes documentary on the making of Hamilton the Film.
Only a day into the release, fans are expressing their joy.
But the musical’s creator isn’t the only one getting some serious love. Daveed Diggs who plays Marquis de Lafayette is stealing hearts stage-left, right and centre.
